Hours, exceptions & the fine print

For ordinary walks, use a leash no longer than six feet and keep direct physical control. The at-large definition excludes animals lawfully in an off-leash site authorized by the city or its code (§4-1). Section 4-51 includes defenses for specified events outside the owner’s control and for certain assistance, law-enforcement and search-and-rescue activities. The operator rules require dogs leashed until inside the double-gated entry and the leash removed once inside. Keep your dog under visual and voice control.
